Cllr Louise Calland has welcomed the re-opening of the tourism sector on the 4th of July, giving a boost for up to 3190 businesses in Merton & Wandsworth, and called on people to show their support for local businesses following a difficult three months.
Results of Air Quality Monitoring by Wandsworth Council are in and have shown a drop in harmful pollutants. In Nine Elms and on Lavender Hill, the number of days that levels of PM10 exceeded EU limits halved.
TfL are consulting on the removal of the much-used and popular No.19 bus route. Battersea residents desperately need this bus route to get across London and our Conservative team has collected thousands of signatures supporting our petition to save the No.19 bus.
Following a packed selection meeting at Burntwood School in Tooting this evening, Merton & Wandsworth Conservatives voted overwhelmingly for Cllr Louise Calland to spearhead our drive to win back the GLA seat from Labour.
